ATLANTA-  Central Florida sophomore Grant Smith has been named the MCLA Division I PEARL Goalie of the Week after helping to propel the Knights to their first win over Florida since 2019.  The Orlando native made 16 saves backstopping the Knights’ defense pushing them to knock off the Gators.

Central Florida head coach Austin Ricci said, “Grant is a great young man both on and off the field. A player who truly goes above and beyond for his teammates. Infectiously positive player that we are lucky to have.”

Congratulations to Grant who will receive a PEARL swag bag in recognition of his efforts.  The bag will include PEARL lacrosse balls- the official ball of the MCLA.
