SAN ANTONIO – After winning its first ever league championship, Southern Methodist swept the Lone Star Alliance Division I postseason awards and placed six players on the all-conference first team.

Senior goalie Adam Connolly was named both the Defensive Player of the Year and LSA MVP while junior attackman Nick Schultz was tabbed Offensive Player of the Year. Mustangs' skipper Karl Lynch was named Coach of the Year.

Attackman Gerrick Cantrell, defensive middie Caleb Brooks and defenders Riley Hudack and David Stacke joined Connolly and Schultz on the first team for SMU. Texas State and Texas A&M had three first team selections while LSU had one.
