ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Thomas men's lacrosse team leads MCLA Division II with five national championships and the Tommies have released their road to a potential sixth.

St. Thomas will play an 11-game regular season featuring 10 Division II teams and one Division I outfit. Regardless of the division, every opponent was ranked in the Top 25 of the final 2017 coaches poll while eight foes qualified for the 2017 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour.

"We always want to create a schedule that will challenge us and give the selection committee a good body of work to consider when they are evaluating teams for invitations to the MCLA National Championship," said St. Thomas coach Brian Gross. "When I look at our schedule, I see tough opponents every step of the way, which is exactly what we were striving for.

"This schedule will challenge us in every aspect we need: obivously on the field, our ability to win tough games on the road, and our ability to play on short turnarounds. All things that a team will have to be able to do in Salt Lake City in May in order to make a run."
