EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon men’s lacrosse program returned to the MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour in 2017 by way of the PNCLL Championship for the first time since 2013.

This spring, the Ducks play a 12-game schedule, featuring four teams that qualified for nationals and six opponents that finished ranked inside the Top 25.

“We feel that playing a top tier schedule is important to making a deep tournament run in May,” said Oregon coach Markus McCaine. “We had a great run last year, but this year it’s time to step it up a notch.”

Outside of the PNCLL, Oregon will play Santa Clara, Stanford, Arizona State, Colorado State, Utah and BYU.

“We want to see how we stack up against the best in the MCLA,” McCaine said. “It’s great to have the Ducks back in the spotlight and now it’s time to show the country we are true contenders.”
