Two Coordinator Positions Open at TCU

FORT WORTH, TX. -- Texas Christian men’s lacrosse team is looking for qualified candidates for both its defensive and offensive coordinator positions for the 2023 season.

The Horned Frogs compete in MCLA Division I as members of the Lone Star Alliance. They are looking for staff additions that will help them reach their goal to qualify for the 2023 MCLA National Championships presented by New Balance.

DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR

Job Requirements
- Lacrosse experience and previous coaching experience at the professional/collegiate/ or high school level.
- A passion for coaching student-athletes and promoting whole person development on and off the field.
- Willingness to work with the head coach and officers of the team to improve team performance, university recognition, and coordinate an effective practice and game schedule.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Individual player development
- Overall defensive scheme strategy
- Formation of practice plans
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas
- Open to player feedback
- Formation of game plan strategy and tactics
- Mentoring of young men
- Assisting in recruiting process
- Respecting the academic commitments of the players
- Contribute to team chemistry

OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR

The TCU Men’s Lacrosse team is highly competitive within the Lone Star Alliance conference, having won the 2022 LSA Championship, and is looking to compete at the national level. The team consists of motivated student-athletes who share a passion for lacrosse and hold themselves to TCU’s high academic standard. Therefore, the team is looking for an assistant coach who can make the team better but keeps the team values paramount.

The TCU team practices 2 evenings per week in the fall and 3 evenings per week in the spring. Games are typically on the weekends.

Compensation is a stipend to be determined by the Head Coach and Executive Officers.
