NOVATO, Calif. – For the third straight year, Sierra Nevada is the champion of the Western Collegiate Lacrosse League Division II after knocking off UC Davis, 13-4, on Sunday morning.

The victory automatically qualifies the Eagles for the 2017 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour, which runs from May 8-13 in Orange County, Calif.

Sierra Nevada, which has still never lost a regular season or postseason game in the WCLL, jumped on the Aggies early and never let UC Davis back in the game.

The Eagles will find out their seed and first round opponent on Sunday evening when the Division II brackets of the MCLA Nationals Championships are unveiled on MCLA.us.
