Weekend Socials: Fall Continues

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- It was a busy fall ball weekend for MCLA programs, so here's a look at some of the action through the prism of the various social media outlets used by our membership.

Davenport and Grand Valley State kicked off the action on Thursday night when they renewed their Michigan-based rivalry. Murray Sports Photography had a great gallery of the action.

Oregon State went 4-0 at the Rhino College Fall Shootout in Bend, beating Utah Valley twice, Montana State and Montana.

Florida beat Central Florida, 9-6, in a scrimmage on Saturday (here's a gallery). Good on the Gators and Knights for putting on a clinic for over 100 kids prior to the event.

Minnesota scrimmaged NCAA Division I Marquette on Sunday at the Blaine National Sports Center. The Gophers put a nice -- and quite large -- gallery on their FB page.

Boise State had a solid outing at the CALI tournament hosted by UC Davis. The only setback came to Sierra Nevada.

Cal Poly, the national runner-up in MCLA Division I last spring, were honored at halftime of the Mustang football game against UC Davis (in the annual Battle for the Golden Horeshoe) on Saturday night.

Western Michigan took home third place in the Big10 Tournament and RAISED THE TROPHY.
