Most recently, Coach Virk was the head coach of the Stanford Men's Lacrosse program from 2008-2016. During that time, the Cardinal won two WCLL Championships and, in doing so, earned two berths to the MCLA National Championship tournament. As a player, Coach Virk had an outstanding career at the NCAA Div. I level as a midfielder and face-off specialist for the University of Maryland. Following his time as a Terp, Coach Virk played field for the San Francisco Dragons of Major League Lacrosse and indoor for the San Jose Stealth of the National Lacrosse League.
