Lukas Baildon joined the Dominican staff in July 2021 as the offensive coordinator as well as the strength and conditioning coach for all of athletics. Before joining the Penguins Coach Baildon was a graduate assistant coach at Concordia University Irvine where he earned his masters in athletic administration and coaching. Although Baildons first season in California was cut short due to COVID-19, in his second year he helped guide the Eagles to a winning record in 2021, beating a long time conference rival for the first time in program history and qualifying for the 2021 National MCLA Invitational tournament. During this season he also helped produce 5 All-Southwestern Regional players. While serving as a graduate assistant coach at CUI, Baildon also worked as an assistant coach at Northwood High School in Irvine. During his two years with the T-Wolves he navigated the shortened 2020 season and guided the team to its first Pacific Coast League Championship and CIF playoffs in 2021. Finishing the 2021 season with an overall record 11-3 and an average win margin of 11 goals. He also helped produce the first NCAA and NJCAA lacrosse commits in program history. Before moving out west, Baildon was a starter for SUNY Potsdam and a Volunteer Coach during his fifth year while completing his Bachelor's Degree in Community Health. Previous to playing at Potsdam, he was a member of the fourth ranked nationally NJCAA program at Genesee Community College where he was also the president of SAAC. Coach Baildon joins the team bringing international and box lacrosse experience. Having grown up in Germany he was a starter on the 2012 U19 German Men's National team, 2015 U19 Box national team and 2016 Men's National Field lacrosse. He was also a member of the Tonawanda Jr B Braves lacrosse team in 2015 and member of the St. Regis Senior B Braves from 2017-19. While growing up in Germany Baildon also won the first U16 championship for his club as a player in 2011 and guided them to two more national championships as a coach in 2012 and 2013. He also founded the JFKS Rams Girls youth program in 2012 which has grown to be one of the largest and most successful girls youth programs in all of Germany.
