BOSTON -- After rolling through the Pioneer Collegiate Lacosse League (PCLL) last spring and earning a bid to the MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour, Boston College has been selected as the conference favorites in the preseason coaches poll.
The Eagles (13-4) took five of the six first place votes (coaches were prohibited from ranking their own team on the ballot) and are followed by New Hampshire (8-3) in second place. The Wildcats garnered the remaining first place tally.
UConn (11-3), the runner-up in the PCLL in 2016, was slotted third, just a point behind UNH. Northeastern (5-5) rounds out the top four.
