FORT WORTH, Texas – The Lone Star Alliance (LSA) accepted three new Division I members to the conference.
Kansas and Missouri, both former members of the Upper Midwest Lacrosse Conference (UMLC), will join Oklahoma, formerly of the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference (RMLC), as new members.
All three teams will compete in the Division I North subdivision with Arkansas and Texas Tech.
"Our Division I conference just got better and sets up natural rivalries within our subdivisions.” said conference director Jason Zantjer.
TCU, SMU, Texas A&M, Texas State and LSU will form the newly created Division I south for the 2022 season.
The LSA will have 10 D-I teams, 13 D-II teams and 12 D-III teams for the 2022 season.
