New Director of Media and Communications

ATLANTA, GA. (July 8, 2024) – The Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA), the preeminent non-varsity league in North America, announces Whitney West as Director of Media and Communications effective July 1, 2024.
MCLA President Ken Lovic, “first and foremost we are so thankful for the time and dedication Jac Coyne provided the MCLA during his tenure. We are very excited to welcome Whitney to the MCLA and feel her experience will provide the MCLA a great transition”.
Whitney joins the MCLA with two decades of Marketing and Communications experience from several globally recognized organizations and will lead the MCLA’s media efforts ranging from partnership management to operating social media channels.
“We have a lot of great momentum as we head towards the 2025 season including a new website design and Whitney will take the reigns and run with it as we look to grow the brand of the MCLA,” adds Lovic.
The MCLA has a key investment rolling out this Fall with the launch of a new website aimed to provide a better experience for their fan base and regional partners.
“I’m thrilled to be joining this team and to work on better elevating the brand to drive more awareness about the MCLA and everything it embodies,” said West.

The Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) provides a quality national intercollegiate lacrosse experience. The MCLA consists of nine non-varsity college lacrosse conferences featuring over 150 teams across 42 states and two countries.
