A&M Opens Assistant Search

Texas A&M Men’s Lacrosse is a Division 1 member of the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) and competes in the Lone Star Alliance conference (LSA). The team has officially begun their search for Assistant Coaches for the 2025/2026 season and is seeking qualified, experienced, professional, and committed individuals to assist in College Station.

The position will require in-state and out of state travel during the fall and spring seasons.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

● Be consistently punctual and present to all practices, games, team events and functions.

● Assist the Head Coach, Travis Doak, in practice planning, game planning, scouting, and film study.

● Must be able to lead small group, position specific training confidently and efficiently.

● Must excel in the ability to communicate effectively to players and coaches.

● Uphold and enforce the rules set forth by the University, the LSA, and the MCLA for student athletes and coaches.

● Assist in creating a winning culture built on merit, integrity, and values.

Qualifications of a successful candidate:

● Education: High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred

● Extensive Coaching experience at the high school level or collegiate level

● Positional expertise

Compensation will be competitive and will be determined by the applicants' education, experience, and qualifications.
