BOSTON – Bridgewater State junior defender Dante DiClemente was named the Continental Lacrosse Conference (CLC) Division II Defensive Player of the Year and leads a contingent of four Bears players on the 2019 all-conference first team, which was released on Tuesday.

Central Conn. State had three players selected for the first team, including senior midfielder Jameson Steinhardt, who was tabbed as the Offensive Player of the Year. The Blue Devils’ Brendan Frobel was named the Coach of the Year.

Rhode Island, the 2019 CLC champion, had a pair of first teamers paced by Rookie of the Year Charlie White.
