ATLANTA- After defeating Colorado and Colorado State the Utah Valley Wolverines (13-0) are once again the unanimous selection atop the 2026 MCLA New Balance Division I Weekly Coaches Poll claiming all 25 first-place votes. The Wolverines will close out their regular season schedule against Utah, but have clinched the number one seed in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference (RMLC) Tournament.
Brigham Young (12-1) who also swept the Colorado schools remains second in the poll. The Cougars will finish their regular season schedule with games against Utah and Utah Tech this week.
Virginia Tech (9-1) slides into the third spot after defeating #5 Tennessee in a game that went down to the wire. The Hokies close their regular season against James Madison and West Virginia this week.
Florida State (12-2) sits in the fourth spot after winning their SouthEastern Lacrosse Conference quarterfinal against Georgia Tech. The Seminoles will now face #7 South Carolina in the semifinals.
Tennessee (11-3) is fifth after a close loss to #3 Virginia Tech. The Vols will host James Madison before entering the Atlantic Lacrosse Conference Tournament.
