IRVINE, Calif. -- The opening session of the 2017 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour begins at 11 a.m. PDT on Monday morning at the Anteater Recreation Fields on the campus of UC Irvine.
This inaugural session will feature the four top seeds in Division II hoping to advance ot the quarterfinals.
Top-seeded and 2016 national champion St. Thomas will start the defense of its title against No. 16 Missouri State. No. 2 Concordia-Irvine battles first-time entrant No. 15 Louisiana while No. 3 Sierra Nevada tackles No. 14 Palm Beach Atlantic. No. 4 Dayton rounds out the first session list of contests against No. 13 Montana.
