Griffins Snap Slide with 12-6 Win at UCSB
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The No. 17 Westminster men’s lacrosse team snapped a two-game losing skid with a 12-6 win at UC Santa Barbara late Thursday night.

Westminster (3-2) used six point efforts from Josh Holland and Thomas Sarjeant to return to the win column. Holland scored a team-high four goals and Sarjeant recorded four assists. Kyle Postler scored three goals with one assist and Eric Crosby also had two goals.
“The offense found its range in that first quarter,” Westminster head coach Mason Goodhand said of his team’s 3-0 first quarter. “We struggled some in the second, but responded in the third to put the game out of reach.”
All three Griffin goalies saw time in cage with Erik Gronseth earning the win by making five saves.
The Griffins will now return home for the home opener on Monday against No. 19 Minnesota Duluth. The game will begin at 4 p.m. (MT) and tickets are available at WestminsterGriffins.com/tickets.
