Colorado Remains Atop MCLA D-I Poll

Colorado Remains Atop MCLA D-I Poll

February 24th, 2016 General News | Arizona State | Boise State | Boston College | BYU | Cal Poly | Chapman | Colorado State | Davenport | Florida State | Georgia Tech | Grand Canyon | Liberty | Michigan State | Oregon State | San Diego State | Simon Fraser | Sonoma State | Stanford | Texas State | Arizona | Colorado | Minnesota | Oregon | Utah | Virginia Tech

ATLANTA – For the second straight week Colorado sits astride the Under Armour MCLA Division I Coaches poll as the Buffaloes grabbed 17 of the 25 first place votes for a comfortable lead over second-ranked Chapman. Colorado will open its season on Friday night when it plays Grand Canyon in a matchup of last year’s national championship game.

See this week's poll HERE.

Chapman remains unchanged from last week after a strong weekend that included wins over No. 14 Sonoma State and Cal-Berkeley, and picked up five first place votes for its efforts. Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech fill in the third- and fourth-ranked slots, but only a single point separates the Hokies and Yellow Jackets thanks to two first place markers for the Ramblin’ Wreck.

Brigham Young rounds out the Top 5 and the Cougars have a first place vote of their own.

Boise State (No. 19) checks into the poll this week after its upset of No. 23 Simon Fraser on Sunday while Minnesota (No. 25) reenters the club. UNLV and Cal-Berkeley make their way out of the rankings this week.
