WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The passwords have been transferred and Palm Beach Atlantic has officially taken over the MCLA’s Snapchat account (the_mcla). While the Sailfish won’t be fully on the clock until Wednesday when they detail their game prep for the season opener against Florida Atlantic, they’ve jumped on a day early and will be giving some previews.
All in all, PBA plans on having 15 hours of coverage on Wednesday – from sunrise on the beach to the postgame wrap-up after the FAU contest.
“We are honored to showcase a day in the life of a Sailfish student-athlete,” said Jayson Schmidt, PBA’s Director of Operations. “Our program is constantly looking for new ways to innovate and we are excited to give lacrosse fans an inside look at who we are."
Follow the_mcla to see how the Sailfish will handle their business, as well as to catch up with all the teams that will be taking over Snapchat this season.
If your program would like to request a Snapchat “Team Takeover” this year, send an email to info@mcla.us and outline the dates and events you’d like to cover. We’ve already got a good slate of teams on tap, but we’ll try to accommodate everyone.
