Montana State Leads RMLC-II Honors
SALT LAKE CITY – After posting a 15-0 season and winning the league tournament, Montana State has been richly rewarded with Division II Rocky Mountain Lacrosse (RMLC) postseason awards.
The Bobcats placed seven players on the RMLC first team while freshman Jack Pugh was named co-Defensive Player of the Year, freshman Mitch Paige was named Rookie of the Year and Chris Kelley was tabbed Coach of the Year.
RMLC runner-up Metro State showed well with five first team All-RMLC selections, led by Offensive Player of the Year Logan Bruss. Forrest Lambert grabbed a piece of the Defensive Player of the Year honors with Montana State’s Pugh.
Fort Lewis placed a pair of players on the first team while Northern Colorado added one.
