RMLC D-I All-Conference Teams Announced
SALT LAKE CITY – The Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference (RMLC) is sending three teams to the 2016 Division I MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour and that trio – Brigham Young, Colorado and Colorado State – dominated the all-conference teams.
Colorado placed seven players on the All-RMLC first team while junior midfielder Jake Gonzales was tabbed the Offensive Player of the Year.
Conference champion BYU had four players on the first team while freshman attackman Chris Severson earned Rookie of the Year accolades. In addition, Cougars junior long-stick middie Max Neser was a co-Defensive Player of the Year.
Colorado State sophomore FOGO Ryan Chamberlain split the defensive award with Neser while the Rams placed three players on the first team.
Utah Valley’s Brae Burbridge was named Coach of the Year in Division I.
