SEATTLE – The top teams in both divisions of the Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse League will converge on the campus of Simon Fraser in Burnaby, B.C., to decide a conference champion for 2017.

The winners in each division receive an automatic qualifying berth in the 2017 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour, which will be held in Orange County, Calif., from May 8-13.

The four-team Division I bracket is led by top seed Oregon after the Ducks took down archrival Oregon State in the season finale. Oregon will face Washington in the first semifinal on Saturday while the Beavers will clash with host Simon Fraser in the other.

The Division I championship game will take place at 2 p.m.

The six-team Division II tournament starts on Friday with a pair of first round games that will feed into the semifinals on Saturday. Both the College of Idaho and Montana earned top seeds and a bye into the semis. The title game will occur at 11 a.m. on Sunday.

“We’re very excited for Simon Fraser to host our tournament this spring,” said PNCLL director Jason Stockton. “Both divisions are full of teams that could easily walk away with a championship, so this is going to be a can’t-miss event.”

There will be a one-time $10 ticket for the entire weekend with all the games taking place on Terry Fox Field on the SFU campus.
