Ragin' Cajuns Top LSA-II
DALLAS -- After winning the conference championship last spring and earning its first-ever trip to the MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour, Louisiana is the favorite to win the Lone Star Alliance Division II again.
The Ragin' Cajuns (11-3) were slotted first in the 27-team league according to the preseason coaches poll.
Louisiana finished ahead of Missouri State (11-7), which won the Great Rivers Lacrosse Conference (GRLC) championship last year to qualify for nationals. The Bears moved to the LSA for the 2018 season after the demise of the GRLC.
UT-Dallas (11-2), last year's runner-up in the LSA after bowing to the Cajuns, 11-8, was ranked third while Baylor (10-3) rounded out the top four.
