BERKELEY, Calif. -- Undefeated and fourth-ranked Michigan State rolled into Memorial Stadium on Sunday afternoon to face No. 16 California and videographer Claude Lyneis was on hand to capture the action for MCLA.us. Check out the video below.

After a tight first quarter that saw the visitors post a 2-1 lead, Michigan State recorded a 4-0 second quarter to take a 6-1 lead into halftime that was never threatened as the Spartan defense lived up to its billing.

Nick Bowman (3g, 2a), Bennett Osterink (3g) and Charlie Pistner (3g) led the Michigan State offense while Kevin Boland made 12 saves in the cage.

Nick Beattie and Harrison Drake combined for nine stops for the Bears.
