BOULDER, Colo. -- In a clash between No. 3 Grand Canyon and No. 5 Colorado, it was the Buffs who managed to pull out a thrilling, 12-11 victory on Saturday afternoon.

The Lopes had the better of play early, racing out to a 4-1 lead and still had an 7-3 edge at halftime. After the two teams traded goals in the third, Colorado posted a 5-0 fourth frame to walk away with the win.
John Roach had four goals to lead the way for the Buffaloes while Russell Riley made 12 stops in net. Cody Clark's five goals and an assist was the top performance for the Lopes.
