D-I Poll: Panther Pole Position

April 25th, 2018 General News | Chapman | Utah | Arizona State | Boston College | BYU | California | Clemson | Colorado | Colorado State | Concordia | Davenport | Florida | Florida State | Georgia | Georgia Tech | Grand Canyon | Liberty | Michigan State | Minnesota | New Hampshire | Northeastern | Simon Fraser | South Carolina | Virginia Tech

ATLANTA – It’s the last Under Armour MCLA Division I Weekly Coaches Poll before Selection Sunday and Chapman still holds on to its spot at the top of the charts.

The Panthers (11-0) lost four first place votes from last week, but Chapman was still able to stay 11 points clear of second-place Utah. The Utes picked up three first place votes from last week.

Michigan State (14-1) bumped up into the third chair after winning the CCLA title. Despite getting rocked by rival Utah in the penultimate game of the season last Thursday, Brigham Young (14-2) managed to leap into the fourth position.

South Carolina (16-1) suffered its first loss of the season in the SELC title game to Virginia Tech, dropping the Gamecocks to fifth.

No one left the poll this week thanks to a tie at No. 25, but Minnesota (8-7) joined the party at No. 24.
