AMES, Iowa – Indiana defeated archrival Purdue, 8-5, in the championship game of the Upper Midwest Lacrosse Conference (UMLC) Division I tournament on Sunday afternoon on the campus of Iowa State University.
With the win, the Hoosiers have earned an automatic qualifying berth to the 2018 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour, which takes place in Salt Lake City from May 7-12.
This will be Indiana’s second trip to nationals, with the first one coming in 2014.
The MCLA Selection Committee will release the participants and matchups this evening. Check MCLA.us for all your championship information.
