LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. – Oregon took down the two top seeds in the Pacific Northwester Collegiate Lacrosse League (PNCLL) Division I tournament, repeating as the conference champion.
With the wins, Oregon automatically qualifies for the 2018 MCLA National Championship powered by Under Amour, which will be held in Salt Lake City from May 7-12.
After upending No. 2 seed Washington on Saturday, 14-10, the Ducks (7-6) raced out to a big lead on top-seeded Simon Fraser (9-3) and coasted home for the victory.
The lead was 6-1 after one quarter for Oregon and 8-4 at the break. The Clan made several late charges, but could not catch up.
