ROHNERT PARK, Calif. -- In a tight game that featured two quality defenses, California edged Cal Poly, 6-4 in the WCLL Division I championship game to earn a ticket to the 2018 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour.

Brendan Cook had a pair of goals to pace the Cal offense while Nick Beattie made 16 saves to pick up the victory in net.
Four different players scored goals for the Mustangs and Anthony Epshetyn turned away eight shots.
