SAN RAFAEL, Calif. -- Four private California universities will come together on Saturday, Oct. 13, at Kennelly Field on the campus of Dominican University for the first-ever West Coast Private University Lacrosse Showcase.
The event will feature a full day of games featuring Dominican, Biola, Concordia-Irvine and Notre Dame de Namur (NCAA D-II).
Each team will play three games starting at 10 a.m. with the final game concluding at 4 p.m.
Each game will be 45 minutes long with two twenty minute running-time halves. An overtime will be utilized in case of a tie. There won't be a tournament champion declared, but there will be an all-tournament team.
All of the games will be livestreamed on YouTube with more details to come closer to the event.
This event will be free admission and we will have food trucks and vendors at the event.
This will be an annual fall showcase that will change host sites each year; 2019 has been scheduled for Southern California.
The goal for the showcase is to create more exposure for California college lacrosse and make it an exciting annual event that promotes lacrosse, community and competition.
