DENVER – After rolling through the conference and advancing to the quarterfinals of the 2018 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour, Montana State has been labeled the league favorites according to the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference (RMLC) Preseason Coaches Poll.
The Bobcats (13-3) breezed to the conference championship last year, winning the two RMLC tourney contests by an average of nine goals.
MSU Denver (5-10) narrowly edged out CU Denver (9-3) for second place. The Roadrunners hold a four-point edge over the third-place Lynx.
Utah State (2-10), which transitioned to Division II this spring after operating in RMLC-I, snatched the final first place vote and were slotted fourth.
