FORT WORTH, Texas -- The Texas Christian men's lacrosse team has announced its captains for the 2019 season and five players -- three seniors and two sophomores -- will be charged with leading the Horned Frogs, according to TCU coach Mark Purcell.
Seniors Ryan Lawton (goalie), Ethan Phillips (LSM) and Will Creedon (faceoff specialist) along with sophomores Andrew Miller (attack) and Michael Fogerty (midfield.) have been voted captains.
"The coaches, captains and vice presidents provide the vision, strategy and set the foundation of the team’s chemistry," Purcell said. "We look to the TCU captains to lead by example, communicate effectively, have a positive attitude and step up in the clutch."
TCU is coming of a 3-10 season in which the Horned Frogs advanced to the Lone Star Alliance playoffs before losing to Texas, 8-4.
