LyneisFilm: Cal Pulls Away from Poly

BERKELEY, Calif. -- The Cal men's lacrosse team used a 4-1 third quarter to pull away from Cal Poly and post a 14-11 victory in Memorial Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Jake Lombardo (4g, 1a) and Brendan Cook (5a) led the way for the Golden Bears with five points apiece while Nick Beattie turned away 13 of the 23 shots he saw (56.5 sv%).
A.J. Guralas was a force for the Mustangs, scoring seven goals and setting up an eighth in the losing effort. Guralas' fourth goal of the contest was the 100th of his career.
Anthony Epshetyn had 10 stops for Cal Poly.
