ATLANTA – The UMLC has laid claim to the Top 5 of the Under Armour MCLA Division II Weekly Coaches Poll for the better part of a year, but Kennesaw State has finally broken the stranglehold.
The Owls (7-0) jump into the No. 5 spot this week, but they’ll putting their newfound ranking to the test this week at Music City Judgement Weekend II when they face No. 2 St. Thomas (1-0) and No. 1 Minn.-Duluth (2-0) on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
St. John’s (2-0) leapfrogs defending national champion North Dakota State (3-3) for the No. 3 spot while the Bison settle in at No. 4.
UNC-Charlotte departs the poll this week to make way for No. 25 Rice (5-1).
