Photo Gallery: GVSU Drops Johnnies

ALLENDALE, Mich. -- St. John's visited Grand Valley State on Saturday with each of the Top 10 programs looking to get a leg up in the race for the top seed out of the UMLC East division.

The Lakers took control in the first half, racing out to a 7-2 halftime lead and then put the game away with an eight-goal third quarter on their way to an 18-3 triumph. Jake Parry led the way with seven goals and two assists while Alex Moyer made 11 saves in the GVSU cage.

St. John's was paced by Carter Scrimshaw's two goals while a pair of Johnnies goalies combined for 11 stops.
