The Aggies leaned on their defense, backboned by senior netminder Berklee Baskin, holding Montana State (7-6) to just one goal over the first three periods as the Utah State offense slowly built an insurmountable lead.
This year’s trip to nationals will be the second for Utah State at the Division II level. They qualified in 2015, bowing to St. Thomas in the first round, 21-14.
The Division II bracket for the 2019 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour will be released on Sunday night, April 28, and released on MCLA.us. Ticket information can be found at HERE.
