Humboldt State Seeking Head Coach

ARCATA, Calif. -- Located deep in the heart of California's redwoods, the Humboldt State men's lacrosse team is looking for a coach to take the club to the next level.

Fresh off its greatest recruiting year, the nearly 40-year-old program has strong university and alumni backing and is eagerly awaiting Humboldt State's imminent designation as the state’s third polytechnic school.

A student-led club sport with partial funding from the HSU Rec Department, the Humboldt State men’s lacrosse team enjoys playing and practicing on year-round fields and recently purchased new uniforms and helmets.

Responsibilities
• Ability to attend 3-4 practices a week in both fall and spring
• Willingness to travel to all home and away games
• Scout opposing teams and develop comprehensive game plans
• Assist in recruiting prospective players
• Maintain relationships with MCLA coaches to help plan competitive schedules

Desired Coaching Qualities
• Serves as leader and role model on and off the field
• Experienced and knowledgeable on the game of lacrosse
• Willing to advance the skills of players
• Passionate about the game and driven to excel and win

Qualifications
• Prior experience playing or coaching lacrosse at the collegiate level
