Oregon Leads the Way in PNCLL-I
SEATTLE – The top five teams in the Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse League (PNCLL) were separated by just 12 points, but it was Oregon in the top spot, according to the preseason coaches poll.
The Ducks snared four of the six first-place votes to push it three total points clear of the field.
Behind Oregon in second was Washington, which also grabbed a first-place vote.
Oregon State – also an owner of a top vote – sits in third, six points behind the Huskies.
Boise State and Simon Fraser were locked in a tie for the fourth spot while Washington State rounds out the poll.
The PNCLL will have an automatic qualifying berth to the 2022 MCLA National Championships presented by New Balance. The event will take place at the Round Rock (Texas) Multipurpose Complex from May 9-14.
