Washington Unlocks Spring Schedule
SEATTLE -- The Washington men's lacrosse team has released its schedule for the 2022 season and the slate features an 11-game regular season.
The Huskies open the spring with a contest against PNCLL-II foe Western Washington at home as a primer for the PAC-12 Shootout, which occurs on Feb. 19-20 at UCLA. At the event, Washington will clash with both Stanford and California.
UW returns to Seattle for a contest against PNCLL rival Oregon State before traveling to Simon Fraser for another conference matchup.
At the end of March, the Huskies travel to RMLC country to face both Colorado and Colorado State -- a weekend that could have serious postseason implications.
After hosting Oregon on April 2 in a key conference tilt, Washington will head to the City of Trees to face Utah Valley and Boise State. The regular season slate wraps up with an away affair at Washington State.
“We just finished our fall ball and welcomed a talented incoming class of 17 freshmen and sophomores to fill the 42-man Husky roster for 2022," said Washington coach Jack Cerchiara. "We’re very excited to have put together this challenging schedule for 2022. Having had our season suspended for the 2019 and 2020 seasons, our men are very excited to be back on the field this year with one of our most competitive schedules to date."
