PROVO, Utah – Brigham Young raced out to a quick lead and cruised home for the 2022 Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference (RMLC) championship on the campus of BYU on Saturday evening.
With the victory, the Cougars earn the automatic qualifying bid to the 2022 MCLA National Championships presented by New Balance, which will be held in Round Rock, Texas, from May 9-14.
Brigham Young jumped out to a 5-1 lead to start the game and pushed the edge to 9-1 at the break. The second half was a formality.
The Cougars now seek their fifth national championship, which would move them to within one of the all-time MCLA Division I mark.
