KSU’s Shaub Named Goalie of Week
ATLANTA – After backstopping Kennesaw State to the SELC Division II championship, Owls junior netminder Joe Shaub has earned MCLA Division II PEARL Goalie of the Week honors for the period ending April 24.

It was there that Shaub again stood tall, making 11 saves in KSU’s 9-8 victory over No. 9 Florida Gulf Coast, helping the Owls raise the hardware.
“Joe is a captain and a leader for our team,” said Kennesaw coach Connor Murphy. “His performance between the pipes this past weekend was key to us clinching the conference title. He has been lights out all year long and has come up clutch in big games.”
For earning the PEARL’s Goalie of the Week, Shaub will receive a prize package from Guardian PEARL, a ball that lasts longer than the rest and never greases. Guardian PEARL is the proud partner of the MCLA.
