TUCSON – The semifinals and finals of the Southwestern Lacrosse Conference (SLC) Division I and II tournaments will be held on the campus of the University of Arizona from April 29-May 1.
The champions in each division will receive an automatic qualifying berth to the 2022 MCLA National Champions presented by New Balance, which will take place in Round Rock, Texas, from May 9-14.
BRACKETS: DIVISION I | DIVISION II
“We’re all excited to have our first conference championship crowned in three years,” said SLC director Matt Holman. “In addition to recognizing the talent on the field, the SLC will have its fist in-person coaches meeting since the fall of 2019. It promises to be a great weekend all around and Arizona is a great host.”
The Division I tournament will feature a traditional four-team tournament with the semifinals kicking off on Friday, April 29, and the championship game going off at 10 a.m. on May 1.
Division II is going with a six-team format with the top three squads from both subdivisions earning a berth. The second- and third-seeded teams will crossover in a first-round contest at home sites between April 22-24, with the winners feeding into the semifinals against top seeds on April 30 in Tucson.
For those planning to attend in person, tickets may be purchased now or at the venue. All individuals ages 15-plus are required to hold a valid ticket to enter the venue. Weekend passes or single day tickets are on sale now.
If you’re unable to attend the tournament in person, you can live stream all six semifinal and finals games. Those purchasing before April 27 will receive a $20 discount on watching the contests.
