“The WCLL tournament is going to be loaded, as usual, and we’re all looking forward to crowning our champion,” said WCLL director Michael Gillespie. “Our tournament will be a wonderful opportunity for lacrosse fans in the Bay Area to watch some high-level action.”
The top three teams from each of the two Division I subdivisions will earn a berth in the tournament with the top seeds in each receiving a bye to the semifinals.
The first-round crossover games will feature No. 3N Nevada visiting No. 2S UC Santa Barbara while No. 3S Santa Clara will visit No. 2N Dominican. Both games will take place at 1 p.m. on April 23.
The winners feed into the semifinals against the top seeds California and Cal Poly.
In Division II, there will be a traditional four-team tournament, although the timeline will be modified. Due to no lights at Kennelly Field, the semifinal games will take place on April 22-24.
