A&M’s Kroslowitz Named Goalie of Week
ATLANTA – After backstopping Texas A&M to a ranked win over a conference rival, Aggies senior netminder Jason Kroslowitz is the MCLA Division I PEARL Goalie of the Week for the period ending Feb. 12.
Squaring up against No. 22 Texas Christian – the reigning conference champs – in a crucial LSA South subdivisional contest, The Woodlands, Texas, native turned away 18 of the 25 shots he saw on the afternoon.
He finished with a 72.0 save percentage along with a pair of ground balls.
“Jason's return to the field after his ACL surgery last March was a resounding success,” said Texas A&M coach Tony Scazzero. “Having Jason back in the cage for Texas A&M was both another step in his stellar journey as a goalie but also had a strong impact on our team's play.
“With every save, Jason's confidence grew and settled our defense down. He was outstanding Saturday against TCU directing the defense from the cage, making saves and running the clears. Welcome back!”
For earning the PEARL’s Goalie of the Week, Kroslowitz will receive a prize package from Guardian PEARL, a ball that lasts longer than the rest and never greases. Guardian PEARL is the proud partner of the MCLA.
