UNC-Charlotte Repeats in ALC-II

LYNCHBURG, Va. – UNC-Charlotte made it two in a row, defeating Coastal Carolina, 11-9, to claim the 2023 Atlantic Lacrosse Conference (ALC) Division II title at Lynchburg City Stadium on Sunday.

With the victory, UNC-Charlotte (10-2) earns an automatic qualifying berth to the 2023 MCLA National Championships presented by New Balance, which will take place from May 8-13 at the Round Rock (Texas) Multipurpose Complex. Tickets and live streaming for nationals can be purchased HERE.

An early lead for the 49ers fizzled, as Coastal Carolina (8-4) roared back to tie the game. The Chanticleers could not keep up with Charlotte scoring, eventually falling.
