Brigham Young Leads RMLC-I Poll
DENVER – Despite finishing second in the regular season and as the runner-up in the conference tournament, Brigham Young has been installed as the favorite in Division I of the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference (RMLC), according to the preseason coaches poll.
The Cougars (14-7), which advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2023 MCLA National Championships presented by New Balance, finished with three of the six first-place votes.
Defending conference champion Utah Valley (16-3) was placed second, five points behind BYU. The Wolverines, which also finished with three top votes, defeated the Cougars, 14-13, in the RMLC finals to earn an automatic berth to nationals.
