BEFORE SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT STATE UNIVERSITY: Played football and lacrosse for Wilbur Cross High School, served as the varsity goalie. PERSONAL: Son of Nicole Pullen and Gregory James. FAVORITE ATHLETE: Myself, inspired by the mythological Greek warrior Achilles. OTHER EXTRACURRICULARS: Former speaker at the Young King’s Brotherhood and Guns Downs Books Up organization. HOBBIES: Cooking and weight lifting. FUN FACT: My name derives from the legendary Greek warrior Achilles. WHY SCSU? The connection to SCSU was influenced by a conversation with the West Haven coach, who encouraged me to apply and join the team, which led me to change his position from goalie to midfielder. FUTURE GOALS: Become a nurse, utilizing my empathetic nature and leadership skills gained from sports and community engagement.
