ATLANTA- In the fourth edition of the 2026 MCLA Division II New Balance Weekly Coaches Poll St. Thomas remains on top and collected all 26 first-place votes.  The Tommies got two dominant wins over the weekend including a win over last week’s fourth ranked team in Montana.  The Tommies are playing efficient lacrosse and dispatching all challengers at the moment.  As Omar Little said on HBO’s The Wire, “You come at the kind, you best not miss.”

Cal State San Marcos (6-1) remains in the second spot.  The Cougars got an impressive 12-9 road win over UC San Diego who is ranked 11th in this week’s poll.

Air Force (5-1) is once again flying in the third spot and will be idle for nearly a month before they play their next game.

College of Idaho (8-0) was idle, but moved up one spot from last week.

Montana (9-1) rounds out the top five after sliding down one spot following their loss to St. Thomas.
