Tariq is a native of the Bahamas and graduated from Liberty University in 2016, earning a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training. While at Liberty, he gained experience in a number of NCAA D1 athletics as well as outpatient settings. After graduating, he spend a year working as a certified Athletic Trainer at Houghton College in Houghton, NY, which is a member of the NCAA DIII Empire 8 conference. During the Spring of 2017, he accepted the Club Sports Graduate Assistant position, during which he is pursuing his Master's in Business Administration: Healthcare Management.
