Colorado Eyeing a Big Movember Finish
BOULDER, Colo. -- After a strong start to the month, the University of Colorado men's lacrosse team is searching for individuals to join their "Movember" efforts.
Having crossed the halfway point of November, the Buffaloes would like to turn everyone's attention toward men's health and the importance of prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men in the US. In an attempt to show its support, members of the CU men's lacrosse team have been growing the "gnarliest of worms" across their upper lips in hopes that people will see it from miles away and understand that they are standing up for men's health, along with raising awareness about the deep danger of prostate cancer.
For those interested in helping the Buffs raise money and spread awareness, you can contribute at Colorado's donation page HERE.
Showing off their mustaches above are (from l-r) senior defender Jordan Shiparski, senior middie Christopher Boland, senior long-stick middie Clark Salamie, freshman FOGO Chad Piatek and sophomore defender Jackson Marlow.
